The Johns Island Community Association's "livability task force" was created to improve the quality of life for all Johns Islanders. From litter control to storm water issues, our goal is to help our neighbors with livability concerns:

Road Maintenance
Beyond increasing connectivity and capacity to our road network, we are committed to ensuring our roadways are maintained.
Johns Island roads are maintained by either Charleston County or SCDOT -- depending on who "owns" the roadway.
If you have a concern about a road on Johns Island, we encourage you to place a work order request with appropriate agency.
Use the SC Department of Transportation Street Finder Tool to determine who is responsible for maintaining a specific road.
